Tanning beds cause miscarriage

There is no safe tan

For over two years, the National Agency for Sanitary Surveillance (ANVISA) prohibits the use of artificial tanning beds in Brazil. This means that one can not, in domestic, import, sell, rent, give away or use these devices that accelerate a process done naturally by solar action.

The arguments for this are simple ban. According to a study by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC, its acronym in English), which was based ANVISA, make use of this machine, which looks like a coffin with interior lighting, 75% increase in the chances of melanoma.

among the most serious types of skin cancer, it is always evil (ie, cells that activate this tumor and degenerative disease progresses much more quickly). Nearly 6000 Brazilians died from this cancer in 2010 .

The most alarming, however, is not on the disease itself, but in relation to the most affected age group: young people up to 30 years. Other information: According to the Mayo Clinic American (one of the hottest in the world, including the questions that relate to aesthetics), the rate of affected women is four times that of men.

The link between such numbers as to found the clinic is linked to tanning. Girls, mostly, if not frightened by the horrifying scene of the movie "Premonition" (Final Destination, in English, in which two girls burnt alive die in an accident in the machine), run the risk of a less violent death, but equally dangerous.

And because tanning beds are even more dangerous than sun unprotected? For the same reason: Ultraviolet radiation (UV). UV rays, so feared by the population, are also the basis of the tanning machine.

For this reason, doctors recommend caution: whether in sunlight or inside the camera, tanning does not offer 100% security. In an alarming sight, a World Health Organization (WHO) states that the obsession with dark skin is as carcinogenic as cigarettes, mustard gas, and hazardous chemicals like arsenic and plutonium, used in nucellar plants. Both indoor and outdoor tanning is bad

They are both bad and will cause cancer. I had Melanoma from from tanning beds and laying out in the sun. Maybe one day I can scan my pics of my scars from having my cancer dug out. I could not walk for 8 weeks and the scar of having my lymph nodes out with a nasty drain. I have scars every where now. I get at least 2 moles off every 3 months since I was dx with Melanoma at the age of 19. I am 21 now. I get scans every 3 months to make sure the cancer is not spreading to any of my organs. It is very scary when scan results come in. I just hope for the best. People dont take Melanoma seriously they think "oh it just skin cancer"
